Uploading your music to DropTrack is the first step to promoting it.
How to Upload a Track
- Go to Promotion > Tracks.
- Click Add Track.
- Choose DropTrack as the track source.
- Click Upload Track(s) and select an MP3, WAV, or AIFF file. On desktop, you can also drag and drop files into the upload area.
- After the track is created, open it and use the Details tab to edit metadata and artwork.
- Click Save Changes.
Other Ways to Add Tracks
- SoundCloud — On the Add Track page, choose SoundCloud and paste a SoundCloud URL. For private SoundCloud tracks, use the full secret link.
- Spotify (track) — On the Add Track page, choose Spotify and paste a Spotify track URL.
- Spotify (album) — Paste a Spotify album URL on the Add Track page to import the whole album. DropTrack creates a new playlist named after the album, imports each track in album order, and uses the album cover as the playlist artwork. Plan limits still apply — if you hit your track limit, DropTrack imports as many tracks as it can and prompts you to upgrade for the rest. See Spotify Track & Album Support.
