A download gate lets you offer music downloads after a listener joins your contact list. You can also require feedback before download.
Create an Email Download Gate from a Playlist
- Go to Promotion > Playlists and open the playlist you want to share.
- Scroll to Create a Playlist Link.
- Enter a unique shortlink name.
- Enable the download option.
- Enable the signup/email option so visitors are asked for contact information before downloading.
- Optionally enable the feedback option if you want feedback before download.
- Click Create.
What Listeners See
Visitors can play the playlist in the web player. When they try to download, DropTrack collects the required contact information first. If feedback is required, they must complete the feedback form before the download starts.

- Playlist link analytics such as views, activations, plays, and downloads
