Campaign Follow-ups help you see who engaged with your music and decide who to contact next. When enabled for your account, automatic follow-ups can also nudge recipients based on their campaign activity.

DropTrack Campaign Followups

Where to Find Follow-ups

  1. Go to Promotion > Campaigns.
  2. Open a sent campaign.
  3. Select the Follow-ups tab.

If you do not see this tab, Campaign Followups may not be enabled for your account yet.

What the Follow-ups Tab Shows

  • Delivery and engagement - a funnel showing recipients who were sent the campaign, opened the email, visited the campaign page, played the music, or replied.
  • Personal follow-ups - contacts whose campaign activity can help you choose who to contact next.
  • All contacts - a searchable and filterable table showing each recipient's current stage and what happens next.
  • Manage all settings - switches for each automatic follow-up type on that campaign.
  • Nudges DropTrack has sent for you - a history table that appears after DropTrack has sent follow-ups on your behalf.

Automatic Follow-up Types

Each campaign can have these follow-up settings turned on or off independently:

  • Played, no reply yet - sends 2 days after a contact plays or downloads without replying.
  • Visited the page, didn't play - sends 1 day after a contact visits the campaign page without playing or downloading.
  • Opened the email, didn't click - sends 7 days after a contact opens the email without visiting the campaign page.
  • Never opened the email - sends 7 days after the campaign goes out to contacts who have not opened it.
  • Weekly recap to you - sends you a weekly summary of plays, replies, and standout contacts for up to 4 weeks.

Manage Follow-up Settings

Use the Auto follow-up switches in the funnel or open Manage all settings to control follow-ups for the current campaign. These settings affect only that campaign.

Each follow-up sends once per contact, and only if that contact is still subscribed. A follow-up stops as soon as the contact does something better, like replying, giving feedback, playing, or downloading.

Write a Personal Follow-up

Use Personal follow-ups to choose who to contact next based on their campaign activity.

  1. Select Follow up beside a contact to see their email address.
  2. Select Copy email to use the address, or Open email draft to open a prefilled message in your email app.
  3. Review the draft before you send it.

If an email address is missing, use View contact when available to review the contact’s details.

Contact Follow-up History

When Campaign Followups are enabled, individual contact pages can show related campaign activity and follow-up history. Open a contact from the campaign or Contacts area to review their opens, views, plays, downloads, feedback, campaigns, and sent follow-ups.
